We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Vancouver, British Columbia. In this role, you will be responsible for managing high-volume invoice processing, expense reconciliation, and ensuring accurate financial record-keeping. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to a collaborative team.

• Process a high volume of invoices, including property management, corporate legal, and office expenses.
• Reconcile and manage intercompany cheques and remote deposits with accuracy.
• Handle expense reports and credit card transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Utilize Yardi software to post transactions and manage development-related financial activities.
• Prepare and submit financial data in Excel, including pivot tables and other calculations.
• Split and allocate property management invoices appropriately.
• Assist with twice-monthly property management processes and monthly development tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate processing of accounts payable.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records for auditing and reporting purposes.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounts payable or a related field.
• Proficiency with Yardi software and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and basic calculations.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage high-volume workloads.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to ask questions and actively engage in a supportive workplace culture.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
