OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable (AP) Consultant to join our Dubai team. The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of hands-on experience in managing end-to-end accounts payable processes. Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in the service industry. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate financial records and timely vendor payments.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • 2–4 years of relevant Accounts Payable/Receivable experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities (written and verbal).
Responsibilities
  • Process high volumes of vendor invoices and credit notes accurately and efficiently.
  • Perform 3-way matching (invoice, purchase order, and delivery receipt).
  • Monitor and manage payment cycles to ensure compliance with due dates and cash flow requirements.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to supplier inquiries.
  • Ensure correct GL coding of invoices and assignment to the appropriate cost centers.
  • Review and validate employee expense claims as per company policy.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to confirm vendor terms and purchase agreements.
