Legacy Builders So Cal Inc. is a Concrete & Masonry Contractor – working in the home building industry for over 12 years. We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our A/P and accounting team! This a great opportunity for someone looking to join a terrific family business atmosphere.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Accounting experience 2-5 years (preferred)
• Accounts Payable experience 1-2 years (preferred)
• Must be experienced in QuickBooks
• Must be experienced in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
• Internet savvy – familiar with construction web-portals
• Some knowledge of construction accounting
• Some knowledge of mechanics lien laws
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Bi-Lingual (English / Spanish) would be helpful but is not required

• Entering vendor bills using our Quickbooks Software.
• Verifying vendor bills via pricing sheets and purchase orders.
• Working with the purchasing team to reconcile purchases.
• Verifying vendor statements each month.
• Updating the accounting team on a weekly basis as to what bills are payable for the period.
• Cutting and mailing out vendor check payments.
• Handling vendor releases.
• Handling Subcontractor bills and payments.
• Working with the Project Management team in regards to Subcontractor billings.
• Handling Subcontractor qualification paperwork such as insurances.
• Handling Subcontractor releases.
• Assist front office with small tasks where needed; such as covering breaks and lunches, checking/opening mail, helping with closing up the office, etc.
