EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or related field.
Responsibilities
  • Accurately process accounts payable transactions in a timely manner.
  • Review and verify invoices against purchase orders and receipts.
  • Resolve discrepancies in invoices and communicate with vendors as necessary.
  • Prepare weekly check runs and electronic payments.
  • Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities, including the reconciliation of accounts.
  • Monitor and maintain vendor accounts and relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
