Job Description You will be asked to do: Invoice Management: Assist in receiving, reviewing, and processing vendor invoices. Ensure all invoices are accurately coded, approved, and entered into the accounting system. Payment Processing: Support the preparation and execution of payment runs, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers. Ensure timely payments to vendors while adhering to company policies and terms. Vendor Communication: Communicate with vendors regarding invoice discrepancies, payment inquiries, and account updates. Resolve issues efficiently and maintain positive vendor relationships. Data Entry and Maintenance: Accurately enter financial data into accounting software. Maintain organized records of invoices and payments. Reconciliation: Assist with monthly reconciliations of accounts payable subledger to the general ledger. Identify and resolve discrepancies. Expense Reports: Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and proper documentation. Compliance: Ensure all financial transactions comply with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations. Ad Hoc Projects: Provide support for special projects and initiatives within the Finance and Accounting department as needed. Qualifications It could be you, if you have/are: Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Basic understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
