Description

SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for accurately and promptly entering bills into the ERP system. In addition to managing Accounts Payable, duties include conducting inventory spot counts, making necessary adjustments, and ensuring that established inventory procedures are properly implemented and documented. The role provides a dynamic mix of office-based data entry and outdoor fieldwork. There may be seasonal fluctuations in workload and opportunities to support other operational areas as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Organize and process vendor invoices, employee credit card expenses and weekly payments
2. Ensure invoices are approved, assigned accounts, and entered into ERP System accurately.
3. File and organize electronic and paper invoices, packing slips, weight tickets, etc.
4. Assist with organizing and accurately entering inventory receipts into ERP system.
5. Create and manage new production jobs for manufactured bulk goods.
6. Enter manufactured production reports for bulk goods into ERP daily.
7. Perform weekly spot inventory counts to ensure inventory levels are accurate in the system and adjust as necessary.
8. Routinely check for unposted shipments and receipts due to inventory issues. Investigate their causes and make necessary adjustments to move to a posted state.
9. Prepare and distribute various inventory and production reports when required.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Efficient in MS Office suite include Excel and Word.
· Familiar with ERP systems
· High level of accuracy and expediency with data entry.
· Good communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
· Willing to work at computer and outside

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

· Post-Secondary education in business administration or related field preferred.
· 1-3 years of experience in accounting/bookkeeping or inventory control.
· Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Strong computer skills
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 44 per week
