Job Description
Title: Accounts Payable Inventory Specialist
Reports to: Accounts Payable Manager
Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with a minimum of 1-5 years’ experience in Accounts Payable manufacturing who will take ownership of processing and reconciling accounts of our finish goods vendors. Including managing its data, cost analysis, payable forecasting, and reporting. The candidate should display a positive and proactive attitude, strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multitask.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Managing vendors AP statements and vendor Payable reconciliations.
• Review and correct invoice exceptions before processing invoices.
• Timely interaction with Internal Departments to resolve PO, costing, and quantity discrepancies.
• Review vendor transaction for direct supply and DY supply manufacturing payables.
• Help build reports and data analytics for inventory transactions.
• Help manage and drive new company wide processes.
• Relationships:
• Department Structure: Directly reports to the Accounts Payable Manager. Partners with others in the department as necessary to achieve objectives
• Internal Relations: Collaborates with stakeholders to facilitate investigation and resolution of Accounts Payable issues. Will collaborate with internal product development and procurement teams.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1-5 years’ experience full cycle A/P
• Minimum 1 year experience with 3–way matching and AP for manufacturing.
• Experience with Oracle R12, PLM, and Kitco a plus,
• Understanding of product development and jewelry costing a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational skills, and a high level of attention to detail.
• Must be able to meet deadlines in a timely manner by prioritizing tasks
• Microsoft Office proficiency required; minimum intermediate Excel skills needed.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Education: Two year college degree preferred
Location: New York, NY
Working Mode: Hybrid, 3 days in office in NYC, 2 days remote
Estimated Base Pay: $65,000-80,000
Base pay is one component of David Yurman’s total compensation package, which may also include the following for eligible employees: access to healthcare benefits, 401(k) plan, bonus, employee discounts, Summer Fridays (corporate roles), generous paid time off, sick time, and more.
