Description
As an Accounts Payable Invoice Processor Co-op student, you will gain hands-on experience in the Procure to Pay (“P2P”) process by supporting the resolution of invoice issues and enabling timely payments to suppliers. This role offers exposure to the full lifecycle of financial transactions—from invoice receipt to general ledger posting—while collaborating with Supply Management, Tax, and Accounting teams. The Accounts Payable Processing Group is responsible for processing invoices across all business lines, including operations in Ireland. The team handles inquiries from internal stakeholders and external suppliers via ServiceNow, and manages complex invoice scenarios such as those submitted without purchase orders. The team sits within our Home Office under the Cash Management group. Responsibilities: Review supplier statements and respond to inquiries Process invoices and manage high-volume, high-priority supplier transactions Ensure accuracy of purchase orders and currency details Work within Inspyrus to match invoices, monitor taxes, and resolve discrepancies Contribute to process improvement initiatives and support project-based tasks Your Skills: Good organizational skills Creative thinker; problem solver Strong attention to detail Self-motivated; ability to work independently Ability to collaborate with others in a team environment Knowledge of Microsoft Office – particularly Microsoft Excel initiative and ability to work independently as a self-starter Your Experience: Currently enrolled in Business Administration with a strong interest in accounting Must have completed at least one year of post-secondary education and be returning to school What We Offer: Professional Development – Student focused learning & development sessions, mentorships and networking events Student Benefits – Housing allowance, co-op fee reimbursement and parking allowance for qualifying candidates.
