We are hiring an Accounts Payable Lead to join our accounting team. You’ll be an integral member of the team, ensuring Testlio’s processes and procedures are fully met. This is a fixed-term role to cover while a member of the team is on maternity leave. This role is expected to last approximately 18 - 20 months. Why will you love this job? Oversee accurate entry, coding, and approval workflows for vendor invoices and expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policy. Maintain vendor records, respond to inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and build positive vendor relationships. Manage weekly/monthly payment runs by ensuring timely and accurate disbursements. Reconcile corporate card transactions, monitor spend, and enforce company policies. Support accruals, reconciliations, and preparation of AP-related schedules for month-end and year-end close. Prepare AP aging reports, cash flow projections related to payables, and variance analysis. Ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies, and audit requirements (SOX/GAAP if applicable). Identify opportunities for automation and workflow optimization in invoice processing and vendor payments. Work closely with other Testlio teams to ensure smooth procure-to-pay processes. What do you need to succeed? Technical Skills At least 2+ years in AP, with demonstrated knowledge of invoice processing, vendor management, and payment cycles. Hands-on experience with accounting/ERP software and payment/ expense platforms. Strong skills in Google Sheets. Understanding of internal controls, audit readiness, and basic GAAP/AP accounting principles. Human Skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels. Business orientation to translate technical outputs into meaningful customer value. Adaptability to thrive in fast-changing environments where priorities evolve as we scale.
