Role description: Guides and coordinates the Accounts Payable team, drives process automation and streamlining initiatives, and delivering excellent service to in-country stakeholders. Also responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of the team, optimizing efficiency, and maintaining high-quality standards in accounts payable operations within the GSSC environment. Role accountabilities: Work closely with regional finance and operational leaders to understand their specific needs and requirements. Ensure appropriate response to any performance issues or challenges, aligning accounts payable processes with regional objectives. Collaborate with local stakeholders to timely resolve complex accounts payable issues. Provide expert guidance, support, and problem-solving to address challenges and ensure accurate and efficient resolution. Handles hiring, fair allocation of activities and identifying training opportunities for the team members; should own the team structure and composition. Leads the Accounts Payable team, providing effective supervision, guidance, and support. Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team. This person should also influence in making final decision in performance reviews, rewards and recognition and can act as final approver on recruitment. Identify non-standard processes within the accounts payable function and proactively seek ways to streamline and automate them. Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and productivity. Support global initiatives as defined by AP senior leadership. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and global counterparts to implement best practices, standardize processes, and achieve global goals. Work with Arcadis Way team to find Oracle enhancements and perform testing. Performs as change agent. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's Degree preferably in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent 10+ years of relevant experience in accounts payable, with at least (3) years of managerial experience capacity in a Shared Services or multinational environment Strong directing and managerial abilities, with a proven track record of leading teams, setting goals, and achieving results in an accounts payable environment Demonstrated organizational awareness, understanding how the accounts payable function impacts the overall business and aligning strategies accordingly Involvement in process standardization and automation.
