EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Leaving certificate or higher
• At least 2 years payables experience in a busy office environment
• Accounts Technician or part qualified accountant would be a distinct advantage

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are hiring an Accounts Payable Manager to lead and develop the Retail Accounts Payable team, ensuring timely and accurate processing, reporting, and payments. The role drives efficiency through process improvements, supports cross-department collaboration, and ensures compliance with reporting and audit requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and support the Retail Accounts Payable team, managing invoice processing and escalations.
• Handle cross-departmental escalations and foster strong working relationships across the business.
• Develop, train, and support AP staff to drive performance and growth.
• Oversee monthly AP reporting, including accruals, aged creditors, and reconciliations.
• Review and analyse payment runs and reports, identifying improvements and liaising with Payments.
• Support quarterly reviews, annual audits, and accurate posting of business overheads.
• Drive process efficiencies and economies of scale through automation.
