To be successful in this role, you will be a motivated individual with strong attention to detail and a passion for finance and administration. You will be experienced in accounts payable functions and comfortable using accounting software and systems. You will work well independently but also enjoy being part of a collaborative and supportive team. Other key skills and qualifications we are looking for include:

  • Previous experience in an accounts payable or similar finance role
  • Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and GST requirements
  • Problem-solving mindset
  • Enjoy a Monday–Friday schedule with flexible start and finish times to suit you
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

In this part-time (30 hours per week) role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice processing, supplier reconciliations, and responding to vendor queries. You will ensure payments are processed accurately and in a timely manner while maintaining compliance. This role involves an unusually large volume of data processing, so you’ll need strong attention to detail and the ability to stay focused on repetitive tasks.
