Your new role We are currently seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team in our new Mulgrave office on a permanent full-time basis. Note that training and induction will take place at our existing location in South Melbourne As an Accounts Payable Officer, you will play a crucial role in our financial operations. Your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Capturing invoices in ReadSoft with precision and within the required timeframes. Processing invoices accurately and in a timely manner using Microsoft D365 on a weekly and monthly basis. Collaborating with vendors and the Business Unit to address any invoice issues or discrepancies that may arise. Vendor statement reconciliation As a valuable member of our team, you will contribute to the smooth functioning of our accounts payable process, helping us maintain strong financial relationships with our vendors and ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures. About you In addition to a minimum of two years of relevant experience within a large organization, the ideal candidate for this role will possess the following qualifications: Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, at an intermediate level. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, allowing for effective relationship-building with colleagues and customers across all levels of the organization. While not mandatory, prior experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 would be highly advantageous. A strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively plan and prioritize work activities.
