Description:
ACCOUNTS PAYABLE OFFICER
We are looking for a skilled Accounts Payable Officer to be responsible for processing all invoices received for payment and for undertaking the payment of all creditors in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.
You will also be required to assist with covering payroll when staff are on annual leave.
REQUIREMENTS
Must have 2/3 years minimum Accounts Payable experience in a similar role
Strong Microsoft Office skills especially excel.
Responsibilities:
- End to end accounts payable - processing invoices, query resolution through to invoice ready for payment.
- Process outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements
- Generate reports detailing accounts payables status.
- Understands compliance issues around accounts payable processes.
- Manage accounts payable email inbox.
- Ad-hoc payment of sundry cheques.
- Key contact point for suppliers.
- Strong team player and ability to work on own initiative.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
