This large Australian organisation based in the CBD is looking for an Accounts Payable Officer to work within a unique but very exciting industry. This is an excellent opportunity for somebody with the relevant skills and experience to take their career to the next level.
Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting in to the Accounts Payable Manager, your responsibilities will include the following:
- Data entry of supplier invoices
- Invoice scanning, coding and routing
- Setting up new suppliers and addressing supplier queries
- Supplier statement reconciliation
- Responding to vendor queries in a professional manner
- Review employee’s expenses and reimburse employees’ claims
- Reconciliation of Corporate Credit Cards
- Prepare payments for corporate credit card and employee cash reimbursements
- Preparation of monthly expense journal and accrual
- Month End Process
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
To be successful in this role you must have a strong understanding of the Accounts Payable function including employee’s expenses. A minimum of 3 years Full Function Accounts Payable experience would be desirable. You will need excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to deal effectively with both internal and external customers.
