Accounts Payable/Payroll ASSOCIATE

Our growing, 63-year-old company seeks an Accounts Payable/Payroll Associate. The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of payroll processing and accounts payable experience. In addition, the ideal candidate will have some formal accounting training and good interpersonal skills. The position is full-time and onsite. This is a position with growth potential to take on various accounting, financial and/or human resources responsibilities over time depending on the candidate’s abilities and interests. Reporting to the Director of Finance and Administration, responsibilities include:

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
· 1+ years in accounts payable and payroll processing experience
· Related experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
· Excellent written, oral communication and people skills.
· Must have the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
· Ability to keep documents well organized.
· Ability to handle confidential information.
· A high level of attention to detail.
· Ability to use Microsoft Office programs, especially excel.
