ACCOUNTS PAYABLE & PURCHASING ADMINISTRATOR

RFNOW Inc. is a fast-growing fibre-optic internet provider out of Virden, MB, and we are adding to our accounting team. Our A/P & Purchasing Administrator will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounts payable operations and supporting the purchasing function. This position ensures timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, maintenance of records, and assistance with procurement activities, including purchase order creation and vendor coordination. This role will give the right candidate an opportunity to apply their accounting knowledge while continuing to grow and enhance their skills across the capability.
This is an office-based position at our office in Virden, MB, with the flexibility to work remotely on occasion.
General Responsibilities:

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Post-secondary education in Accounting is preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in accounts payable and/or purchasing.
  • Knowledge of NetSuite or a similar accounting software would be considered an asset
  • Good knowledge of accounting theory and practices and computerized accounting platforms.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
