Description

The Berge Group is a well-respected, family-owned auto dealership group in the metro Phoenix and Tucson markets that has been selling and servicing vehicles in Arizona for decades.
The Accounts Payable|Receivable Clerk is responsible for accurately and timely managing all aspects of billing and invoicing our vendors.

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Process daily deposits and paperwork on a timely basis
  • Enter invoices into the accounting system and process payments
  • Maintain records of expenditures and prepare checks for payment
  • File and maintain supplier records
  • Verify invoices against purchase orders
  • Ensure goods or services were received before issuing payment
  • Monitor expenses and keep records for tax purposes
  • Prepare and issue 1099s at year-end
  • Maintain petty cash system and post all open items in accounts payable daily
  • Obtain appropriate payment approval
  • Reconcile statements and ledger to ensure payments align with dealership schedules
  • Answer all vendor inquiries and assist with monthly closings
  • Assist with accounts receivable and special projects as necessary
  • Provide additional administrative support as needed
  • Other duties as assigned for cross training and growth
