ACCOUNTS PAYABLE – FULL TIME

Answer Trailer Rental and Sales is looking to add a full-time Accounts Payable clerk. We are a well-known business located in Spruce Grove. Our company is continuously growing and expanding and now it is time to add another team member.
Reporting to the Office Manager, you will provide quality workmanship in the posting and reconciliation of our account’s payables. This position is full-time, minimum 40 hours per week.

• All Accounts Payable tasks. Tasks will include receiving invoices, vendor statements, vendor relations, preparing vendor payments, digitization of documents and account reconciliations. Keeping quality notes for all tasks.
• Lead the monthly A/P processes including the main payables run. Notify required departments of payment issues.
• Acts as contact point for vendor correspondence. Sends and receives vendor credit applications and required credit check forms. Main point of contact for vendor notifications.
• Document filing and organizing as required. Takes direction from multiple layers of management.
• Participates in other administrative or special projects as they arrive. Acts as coverage for the A/R and others in the administration department as needed.
  Qualifications required:
• 2 years in an Accounts Payable or similar office position.
• Excellent customer service ability.
• Reception experience (50 calls per day)
• Demonstrated analysis and problem-solving ability.
• Post-Secondary Education an asset.
• Experience with facilitating vendor requests and concerns.
• Professional communication skills. Good problem-solving skills. Reliable and responsible.
• Ability to multi-task in a face paced work environment.
• Work experience in the truck / trailer transportation industry would be an asset.
