POSITION SUMMARY:

The Accounts Payable & Reporting Specialist II serves as a critical member of the Accounts Payable team, ensuring both operational accuracy and regulatory reporting compliance. This role is responsible for accurate financial processing, project support and the processing of regulatory reporting related to Washington’s Cap and Invest Climate Commitment Act (CCA), Washington’s Clean Fuels Program and Oregon’s Clean Fuels Program. This position spans Accounts Payable financial operations with reporting accountability, contributing to both departmental efficiency and regulatory integrity. This role is responsible for consistently modeling our Core Values.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma plus 2 years of Accounts Payable or Regulatory Reporting experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with ERP based accounts payable systems and processes.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Associate’s degree in accounting, Business, or Finance plus 2-4 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with regulatory or environmental reporting is preferred.

EQUIPMENT AND SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proficient in accounting software (ERM).
  • Experience in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems preferred. Sage, preferred.
  • High proficiency using Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint).

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Occasional lifting (25 lbs.)
