POSITION SUMMARY The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for managing the full-cycle accounts payable process in a fast-paced luxury resort environment. This role ensures the accurate and timely processing of invoices, vendor payments, account reconciliations, and financial records while maintaining compliance with company policies and accounting standards. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in accounts payable, accounting systems, and financial administration. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Process high-volume invoices accurately and efficiently. * Review invoices for proper coding, approvals, and compliance with company policies. * Maintain vendor records and ensure all information is current and accurate. * Coordinate invoice approvals and monitor payment timelines. * Prepare and process vendor payments in accordance with established procedures. * Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. * Audit invoices for accuracy, tax compliance, and supporting documentation. * Reconcile vendor statements and assist with month-end closing activities. * Support accounting, reporting, and financial administration functions as needed. * Maintain confidentiality of financial information and company records. QUALIFICATIONS * Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred. * Minimum of 2 years of Accounts Payable, Accounting, Bookkeeping, or Finance experience required. * Hospitality, hotel, resort, or luxury property accounting experience preferred. * Experience with accounting software, ERP systems, and financial reporting tools preferred. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite required. * Experience with Sage, ProfitSword, or similar accounting systems preferred. * Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time-management skills. * Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. * Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills. * Ability to interact professionally with team members, department leaders, executives, and corporate partners.
