DESCRIPTION

Our client in Mississauga Ontario who is a construction services provider is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team!

This position features:

• Salary: $60,000-$65,000/year

Hours: Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm-Fully on site!

Duties:

• Job costing
• Accounts Payable
• Review Purchase Orders and sync with accounting systems
• Pay vendors
• Create lists of everything to be paid for review
• Review employee expenses for processing
• Setup payments on banking side
• Working with the Construction Accountant, Accounting Manager and Director of Finance

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of Accounts Payable experience in the construction industry is a must!
• Understands accounting rules and regulations
• Experience with Job costing
• Experience with project based payables
• QuickBooks online and/or desktop
• Tech Savvy
• Strong Excel skills. Must know VLOOKUPS
