Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accounts Payable & HR Specialist to join our growing team. This role is focused on expense & vendor bill coding and requires strong critical thinking skills to properly classify and record invoices across multiple entities while providing secondary support to basic human resources activities in a project-based environment. HR-related tasks will include coordinating onboarding and onboarding, maintaining employee records, supporting timekeeping and payroll data, and helping ensure compliance with company policies across multiple projects. Day to do: The ideal candidate is comfortable working with a multi-entity general ledger structure and can adapt to an evolving business with new entities and changing processes. Processes roughly 200-300 invoices monthly. Heavy credit card coding & receipts. Highly organized, adaptable, and able to balance financial responsibilities with administrative HR support in a fast-paced, project-driven setting, while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. Skills & Qualifications 3+ years of accounts payable experience; multi-entity experience strongly preferred. Competent understanding of expense coding, accruals, prepaids, and fixed assets. Experience working with both PO (2/3 way match) and non-PO bills. Ability to navigate complex GL structures and apply critical thinking to new or unique transactions. Excellent organizational skills with a habit of documenting processes and decisions clearly. Competent Excel skills: V/X LOOKUP, basic pivot tables NetSuite experience preferred Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with evolving processes. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $32.00/hr.
