Job Title: Accounts Payable SpecialistJob Description Join a dynamic communications technology company as an Accounts Payable Specialist to assist with an invoice backlog. This role involves managing the full cycle of accounts payable activities, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in processing invoices and maintaining vendor relationships. Responsibilities Manage the full cycle of accounts payable activities, including invoice processing, 3-way match, payment processing, and vendor communication. Analyze and reconcile accounts payable ledgers, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Manage the accounts payable email inbox and respond to inquiries promptly and professionally. Collaborate with procurement and other departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues. Maintain vendor relationships and manage vendor inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner. Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records in accordance with accounting standards. Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable, including reconciliations and accruals. Provide support for other accounting and finance functions as needed. Essential Skills Accounts payable experience Invoice processing expertise Proficiency in Oracle 11i 3-way matching Strong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and pivot tables Understanding of accounting principles including debit & credit, debit memo, and credit card reconciliation Experience in the manufacturing industry Additional Skills & Qualifications 5+ years of full cycle AP processing Experience with vendor management Strong customer service skills Work Environment This position requires working on-site five days a week in a professional setting, engaging with various departments to ensure smooth accounts payable operations. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Fremont, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $39.00/hr.
