We celebrate differences and encourage BANDmates to be their authentic selves. #jointheband What We Are Looking For: Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for assisting in all Accounts Payable (AP) functions with a primary focus of ensuring timely recording and payment of vendor invoices for all global subsidiaries. What You'll Do: Analyze, code, and enter vendor invoices on a timely basis, paying attention to service periods, taxes and corresponding with other departments for proper general ledger coding for all global subsidiaries. Reconcile vendor statements and communicate with vendors to research open or unresolved invoice issues and disputes Coordinate with other departments to ensure new vendors are setup according to internal policies (obtaining W-9 or equivalent tax form, verifying 1099 eligibility and maintaining all vendor documentation) Process annual 1099 tax forms Process employee expense reports in Workday, verify receipts and review coding Initiate electronic vendor payments in online banking systems, virtual card payment systems and using online vendor portals as well as preparing check runs for all global subsidiaries. Provide professional interaction and response to all levels of employees and vendors Assist with providing supporting documentation for the annual financial statement audit Assist with the monthly close process, making necessary adjustments and assisting in research with expense account fluctuations Perform other general AP duties and/or special projects as needed What You Need: Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or related field Experience: 1-3 years of previous experience in accounting, previous experience with Netsuite and Workday preferred but not required. Knowledge: Basic Excel, detail-oriented and organizational skills Skills: Skilled in ability to prioritize multiple assignments simultaneously. Be articulate, timely and professional, and communicate in a clear and positive manner.
