Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Accounts Payable Specialist is an integral member of our team responsible for processing high volume payables within strict deadlines and maintaining strong supplier relationships. They work efficiently to complete the Accounts Payable cycle and ensure accurate data collection. Effective communication with branches, managers, and suppliers is vital in order to ensure timely processing of payables.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Sort, match, code and enter miscellaneous and inventory vendor invoices for all Coast locations
  • Perform 3-way matching of purchase orders, receipts and invoices for inventory suppliers
  • Invoice data entry ensuring proper cost allocation (GL coding)
  • Complete timely regular audits and reconciliations, troubleshooting and resolving any discrepancies
  • Ensure all items on outstanding purchase orders have been received, paid and accounted for
  • Obtain approvals for invoice pricing
  • Respond and resolve internal and supplier enquiries
  • File assorted Accounts Payable documents
