SUMMARY
Maintain accounts payable records in accordance with policy and procedures for the bank as well as all subsidiaries.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Sort and process incoming mail for proper invoice payment
- Ensure timely vendor payments and investigate any vendor inquiries
- Ensure proper sales tax treatment for purchases
- Assist department with month end closing procedures
- Prints and prepares accounts payable checks for distribution
- Processes employee expense reports
- Maintains several sub ledger records for annual tax reporting
- Maintains all accounts payable files
- Prepares financial reports for various Bank committees
- Compliance training is assigned to all Bank personnel based on their position with the Bank. Employees are required to complete all assigned training timely and in accordance with Bank policy.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related duties, as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Minimum of one (1) year related experience and/or training
- Associate degree in Accounting is preferred, but not required
