Daily responsibilities include:  * Perform accounts payable duties such as verifying all invoices for payment, ensuring expenditures are charged to the appropriate accounts and proper approval has been documented. * Assist with the check run process and reconciliation of supplier statements. * Recording cash transactions within the accounting system. * Reconciliation of bank accounts. * Assisting with the month end closing processes. * Providing quarterly reporting of capital expenditures. * Assist with the development and implementation of process improvements. * Practice effective communication by maintaining regular contact with the Controller.  *  Work in an honest and ethical manner; always maintain confidentiality. * Foster a culture that is aligned with the three core values of the Hegg vision:  * We Always Find a Way * Be Better Every Day * We Are Better Together The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate initiative and possess the following skills and knowledge: * A two-year accounting degree * 3+ years of experience in processing accounts payable * Knowledge in South Dakota Sales and Use Tax * QuickBooks Experience * Excellent organizational, time management, communication and customer service skills * Ability to adapt to change and work well in a team setting.
