Accounts Payable Support Specialist Location: Morrow, GA Job Type: Full-Time Hours: Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Friday: 7:30 AM - 11:30 AM Job Summary: We are seeking a meticulous and organized Accounts Payable Support Specialist to join our team in Morrow, GA. The ideal candidate will have experience using office products and Sage accounting software, demonstrating attention to detail and the ability to manage various tasks efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Process and review accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. Utilize Sage accounting software to enter invoices and manage vendor payments. Maintain organized records of all invoices, payment vouchers, and related documents. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate coding of expenses and proper approval of invoices. Assist with month-end closing activities, including preparing reports and ensuring all transactions are recorded. Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status and account discrepancies. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounts payable procedures and best practices. Qualifications: Proven experience in an account's payable role or similar position. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Sage accounting software. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
