POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for supporting Accounting to maintain the integrity of the Accounts Payable function and to ensure all vendors are paid correctly and on a timely basis. The Accounts Payable Specialist will support the company’s Accounts Payable processes for the company’s entities. While the position will be based in Las Vegas, Nevada, there will be occasional travel to the Mountain Pass, California site.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 2 years Accounts Payable Experience.

• Code invoices, expense reports, check requests, etc., with correct codes.
• Conform coding to standard procedures to ensure proper entry into the financial system.
• Handle all vendor correspondence.
• Investigate and resolve problems associated with processing invoices and purchase orders.
• Oversee credit card program for receipt verification, coding, and payment. reconciliation to ensure company policies are adhered to.
• Other duties as assigned.
