SUMMARY

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team at Mr. Bin Inc. This role is crucial in managing our financial transactions and ensuring timely payments to our suppliers. Located in Canada, this position plays a key role in supporting our operations and maintaining strong vendor relationships.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, or general accounting.
• Familiarity with electronic payment systems and credit card reconciliation.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with accounting software preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience with payroll processing and WSIB submissions is a strong asset.

• Monitor daily balances across all company bank accounts and credit cards. Track issued cheques and verify available funds.
• Prepare and implement payment schedules. Execute payments via EFT, EMT, wire transfers, cheques, and company credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, AMEX).
• Review incoming emails, print vendor invoices, categorize and archive digital files, and respond to follow-up requests.
• Match vendor invoices with corresponding delivery slips and follow up on any missing documents.
• Enter invoices into the accounting system and verify amounts against purchase orders (PO).
• Review and enter expense reports submitted by various departments.
• Process due vendor payments and employee reimbursements. Assist the Accounts Receivable team in handling customer refunds.
• Set up new vendor profiles, complete vendor credit applications, and maintain credit card authorization forms.
• Track vendor bills requiring bank financing and prepare related loan and repayment applications.
• Reconcile vendor statements with accounting system records.
• Enter and reconcile credit card payments in the accounting system.
• Review, calculate, process, distribute, and report payroll (including deductions and T4 reporting).
• Calculate and submit WSIB premium reports in compliance with Ontario regulations.
