REQUIREMENTS:

• Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• At least Two (2) years’ experience in accounts payable or general accounting
• Proficiency in accounting software
• Familiarity with automated AP systems and workflow tools
• Experience in a healthcare or multi-location business environment (preferred)
• Understanding of basic GAAP principles (preferred)
• Knowledge of 1099 requirements (preferred)

• 2 year(s): Accounts Payable or General Accounting experience

• Verify approval on all invoices and check requests.
• Codes such items as invoices, vouchers, expense reports, check requests, etc., with correct codes conforming to standard procedures to ensure proper entry into thefinancial system.
• Update and maintain vendor files in Sage & Bill.com.
• Able to process and enter high volume of invoices accurately.
• Audits and verify expenses reports and any AP related reports.
• Reconciles vendor statements efficiently.
• Ability to process and follow-up on rush items.
• Investigates and resolves problems associated within the department.
• Receives, researches, and resolves routine internal and external inquiries about account status, including communicating discrepancies resolutions to appropriate people.
• Files and maintains vendor invoice files as needed.
• Other duties & special projects when assigned.
