Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Marysville, Ohio. This is a long-term contract opportunity for a detail-oriented individual who thrives in fast-paced environments and has a strong background in financial operations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.

Responsibilities
  • Process accounts payable transactions, including invoice coding and approvals, with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Verify and reconcile financial data to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Manage Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments and oversee check runs to maintain timely disbursement schedules.
  • Maintain detailed records of financial transactions and support audit requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure proper account coding.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of accounts payable records.
  • Assist in the implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Respond promptly to vendor inquiries and ensure excellent communication and support.
  • Generate reports on accounts payable activities and provide insights to management.
  • Uphold confidentiality and security standards when handling sensitive financial information.
  • Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role.
  • Proficiency in coding invoices and managing account coding processes.
  • Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions and check runs.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with high volumes of financial data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for vendor and team interactions.
  • Proficient in using financial software and systems to manage accounts payable.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and maintain accuracy under pressure.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
