• Review and accurately code vendor invoices for entry into the accounting system.
• Process payments in adherence to established approval workflows and payment terms.
• Develop and manage invoice approval workflows to ensure smooth operations.
• Schedule payments strategically to optimize discounts and cash flow.
• Maintain up-to-date vendor records and build precise and reliable relationships with vendor accounting teams.
• Generate detailed spend reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures in all payment activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting.
• Familiarity with high-volume accounts payable environments.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Oracle, or similar platforms.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and payables procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management abilities.
• Effective communication skills with a problem-solving mindset.
