We are looking for a dedicated Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in American Canyon, California. This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, managing high-volume invoice processing while ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Ideal candidates will bring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

• Perform full-cycle accounts payable tasks, including matching, batching, and coding invoices accurately.
• Oversee the AP inbox, ensuring timely responses to both internal and external inquiries.
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies by collaborating with vendors and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with company policies by obtaining proper approvals for payments.
• Prepare and execute weekly and monthly payment runs, including checks, ACH transfers, and wire payments.
• Reconcile vendor statements and maintain accurate account records.
• Manage vendor setup and updates, ensuring all records are current and correct.
• Support month-end close activities and assist the Controller with additional accounting tasks as needed.
• At least 3 years of experience in full-cycle accounts payable processes.
• Proven ability to handle over 200 invoices per week in a high-volume setting.
• Proficiency in accounting systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, or similar platforms.
• Strong knowledge of AP processes, automated clearing house (ACH), and internal controls.
• Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Prior experience in accounts payable within the manufacturing industry is a plus.
