Description

SUMMARY: This position is primarily responsible for performing accounts payable functions within the accounting department. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Process daily accounts payable invoices Process credit invoices against Return Goods Notice Reconcile paid not received and received not paid, aging, and credit card statements Maintain vendor files and vendor coding Adhere to month end close deadlines; and perform accounts payable month end closing and accrual preparation Other duties as assigned MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or GED A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience Ability to independently meet frequent deadlines Strong communication skills, both verbally and written Intermediate knowledge with all Microsoft Office applications PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: Associates Degree in accounting or business Purchase order and/or inventory clearing experience OTHER: The selected applicant will be subject to a background check and drug testing.
