If you want to learn more about us visit our website –cruconcrete.com Job Type: Full-time We are seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our team. This role ensures accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, payments, and financial reporting while maintaining oversight of company equipment and asset tracking. The AP Supervisor provides leadership and training to the AP Specialist, supports project teams with financial data, and contributes to continuous process improvement across the department. Job Description & Responsibilities: Supervise, mentor, and train the Accounts Payable Specialist to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to company standards Review and allocate invoices for approvals, code and enter expenses to appropriate jobs or cost codes, and process weekly vendor payments Maintain positive vendor and subcontractor relationships; ensure compliance with company payment terms. Prepare 1099s in compliance with IRS regulations. Generate and analyze reports on AP activity, job costs, and cash flow to support project management and leadership decision-making. Track and manage company-owned assets, including vehicles, tools, and heavy equipment; maintain accurate capitalization and depreciation records. Reconciliation of accounts, monitoring AP aging, and preparing AP accounts for the monthly close. Identify and implement process efficiencies, automation opportunities, and stronger internal controls within the accounting workflow. Other duties as assigned Requirements Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred 3+ years of accounting or accounts payable experience in a construction or related industry; supervisory experience preferred. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; familiarity with construction ERP systems (e.g., Computer Ease, Accumatica, Foundation, Sage) is a plus. Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with field teams, project managers, and vendors in a fast-paced environment.
