MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge and experience with governmental accounting
Experience working in accounts payable such as invoices, travel vouchers and small purchase charge cards
Experience creating accounting entries in the Cardinal system
Proficiency in the area of data analysis and using Microsoft Excel

The Virginia Department of Taxation seeks an accounting and financial professional to serve as our Accounts Payable Supervisor. This position will supervise our Accounts Payable Office, ensure all invoices and travel vouchers are paid timely and accurately.
In this role, you will work with vendors on any issues regarding invoices, work with internal cost centers to resolve any questions regarding expenses, ensure all invoices are paid to the proper fund and cost code and ensure all staff are aware of travel procedures.
