The Accounts Payable Supervisor will oversee the accounts payable function, ensuring accurate and timely payment processing, staff supervision, and compliance with company policies and procedures. Accounts Payable Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of the accounts payable department, including supervising staff, managing workflows, and ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments Ensure that financial deadlines are met and that customer service is provided to all internal stakeholders Monitor accounts and ensure that any discrepancies are identified and resolved Assist with the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures Manage the budget and ensure optimal cost savings Prepare monthly and annual reports for management Participate in the preparation of the annual audit Overlooking 1099’s and assisting with annual tax preparation Requirements Accounts Payable Supervisor Requirements and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field 5+ years of accounts payable experience preferred Proven experience supervising staff and managing processes Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Excellent analytical and communication skills Proficient with accounting software and Microsoft Office Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines Benefits and Perks A great benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, and multiple add-on options.
