ACCOUNTS/PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR

We are looking for a part-time accounts/payroll administrator to join our busy team supporting accounts staff in our Whitstable office.
The successful person will have good knowledge of sage payroll administration experience within a multi-site organisation and a strong working knowledge of processes being able to work to deadlines, manage priorities and handle confidential information with discretion.
Excellent knowledge of sage accounts, along with a strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and good excel capabilities.

EXPERIENCE

  • Sage payroll 3-4 yrs (required)
  • Good knowledge of sage accounts
  • Verbal/written communication
  • Attention to detail/accuracy
  • Basic administration skills

Responsibilities
  • maintain on-line staff training is kept up to date
  • processing of small weekly payrolls
  • upkeep of small company rental ledger and credit control
  • matching, checking and coding of purchase invoices
  • processing month end supplier payments via Bacs and faster payment
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Scanning/checking supplier invoices
  • Excellent communication skills with suppliers
  • Dealing with ad hoc queries
  • Input sales/wages journals
  • Would be required to cover staff sickness and holiday
  • Ability to work on own initiative with a can-do attitude
  • and undertake other duties.
