TWO YEAR FIXED TERM CONTRACT

Are you detail driven, process focused, and ready to make a real impact in a supportive finance team? MHA is looking for an Accounts Receivable Assistant to join us on a two-year fixed term contract, supporting the day-to-day operations while we undergo an exciting period of finance transformation.
This role has been created to provide essential support to the Accounts Receivable Team, allowing senior colleagues to focus on our new system implementation. Whilst this role isn’t directly involved in the project, it is a key part of ensuring operational stability and continuity through change.
You will work closely with the immediate team and wider business to manage our resident ledgers and billing process. In this varied role you will act as a key point of contact for residents and internal staff providing excellent customer service, alongside handling complex queries with empathy and in line with our MHA Values.
You will be joining a supportive, collaborative environment where contributions will help maintain operational excellence during a period of change.

Responsibilities
  • Issuing quarterly statements to residents and leaseholder
  • Responding to and resolving complex queries
  • Assist with cash allocation and payment reconciliation.
  • Direct Debit Administration
  • Raise invoice and credit notes where appropriate
  • Action refunds, in line with policy
  • Assist with preparation and distribution of annual fee review letters.
  • Carry out the end-to-end administration of the resident journey i.e. setting up a new tenancy agreement
