General Summary: The Accounts Receivable Associate is responsible for basic accounting functions including collections and ensuring transactions are processed and recorded. This role works in partnership with the Finance team to process, verify, and post receipts for goods sold or services rendered. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: • Provides support to the accounting/finance team, with a high attention to detail • Monitors customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities • Provides a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers • Processes credit card transactions and manages new and existing recurring credit cards • Initiates invoicing and follows through with collection efforts while maintaining customer relationships • Files documentation for audit trail • Conducts account research and analysis • Maintains accurate aging report • Coordinates with an outside collection agency for collections on exceedingly delinquent accounts • Contributes toward continued requirement of Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required: • Ability to perform routine situations and procedures with moderate supervision • Excellent customer service skills • Strong team player with ability to build positive and collaborative relationships within the ConnectWise organization • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and over the phone • A high degree of accuracy with attention to detail • Strong understanding of billing, collections, accounts receivable, and invoicing • Must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently, strategically, and creatively • High degree of organizational skills to balance and prioritize a multitude of requests and iniatives • Ability to interact effectively with multiple internal teams in a fast-paced environment Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations: • Requires basic knowledge of job procedures and tools • Bachelor’s degree required in related field or equivalent business experience • 2+ years of experience in relevant field • Experience with Microsoft applications Working Conditions: • On-Site/Hybrid/Remote depending on location • 0 -10% travel may be required Candidate must open for rotational shifts: 3:30pm-12:30am IST and 7:00pm-4:00am IST Location: Mumbai Only (Hybrid Thrice a week from the office) ConnectWise is an Equal Opportunity Employer, dedicated to building a diverse and inclusive workforce and providing a workplace free from discrimination and harassment.
