Position Title: Accounts Receivable Clerk
Location: Calgary, AB
Job Type: Full Time Permanent

POSITION SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Corporate Credit Manager or designate. The Accounts Receivable Clerk will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of incoming payments, maintaining financial records, and supporting the overall accounts receivable process.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or related field would be considered an asset.
• 1–3 years of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with accounting software would be considered an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Commitment to safety standards and practices.

• Process and post customer payments via various methods (checks, credit cards, electronic transfers).
• Generate and send out account statements.
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records and update customer information in the system.
• Assist with month-end closing and reporting.
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide excellent service regarding billing issues.
• Additional duties as assigned.
