ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE SPECIALIST – CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY

Location: South Langley, BC
Are you a detail-oriented, proactive accounting professional with a passion for process improvement? We are a long-established, rapidly growing construction company based in South Langley, and we are looking for a skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team as we transition to a fully digital, paperless system.

This is a full-time position with an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a company that values integrity, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • QBO certified and hold a Bookkeeping Certificate
  • Experienced in construction invoicing or similar project-based billing
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Extremely detail-oriented and highly organized - both digitally and physically

    - Able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and calm under pressure

Responsibilities
  • Handle time and materials and fixed-price progress billing
  • Process jobsite field data collected via JotForm and other digital tools
  • Create accurate, timely invoices in QuickBooks Online (QBO)
  • Support the company’s digital transformation by maintaining a well-organized, paperless workflow
  • Collaborate closely with the Estimating and Project Management teams
  • Identify discrepancies and proactively resolve issues with attention to detail
