POSITION SUMMARY

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk responsible for managing our client’s high-volume portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring accurate and timely application of payments, reconciliation of discrepancies, and maintenance of account records. This role requires strong attention to detail, a proactive approach to customer service, and the ability to collaborate across departments including sales and delivery. The ideal candidate is reliable, dedicated, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
Location: 1100 Blake St. Edwardsville, KS 66111 - 100% Onsite – M - T 8AM–5PM / Fri 8AM–3PM
Max Pay Rate: $20.00/hour (FTE salary equivalent)

Responsibilities

Payment Processing & Reconciliation

  • Apply customer payments in SAP using various methods: checks, cash, EFT, Online Bill Pay, and driver collections.
  • Research and resolve discrepancies, credits, and non-sufficient funds (NSFs).
  • Notify customers and sales teams of term changes and payment issues.

Account Maintenance

  • Maintain accurate customer account records including contact information, payment terms, and account notes.
  • Perform monthly statement distribution and courtesy calls.
  • Ensure compliance with Nevada credit law and internal SOPs.

Customer Service & Collaboration

  • Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with sales and other departments to resolve disputes and maintain delivery/payment accuracy.
  • Provide high-level service while managing large volumes of orders and calls.

Portfolio Management

  • Independently manage a portfolio of approximately 1,000 customer accounts.
  • Keep detailed notes on account status and ensure timely updates.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to the Credit and AR Supervisor as needed.

Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
