We currently have an amazing opportunity for an experienced Accounts Clerk professional to join our highly dedicated Finance team.

Responsibilities

YOUR MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Keep track and process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures;
  • Perform day to day financial transactions including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivable data;
  • Prepare invoices in a timely manner in conjunction with Panthers policies
  • Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted;
  • Facilitate swift payment of invoices due to the organisation by sending invoice reminders and contacting clients with outstanding accounts;
  • Generate reports detailing accounts receivable status;
  • Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients’ billing issues with the various site contact;
  • Process other Transactional Data as required and;
  • Provide back up support for daily bank reconciliation, and daily sales postings to the general ledger.
  • Work with the finance team on various bookkeeping and finance tasks.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL HAVE

  • 2+ years previous relevant experience in an accounts receivable clerk role,
  • A positive and motivated attitude with a strong work ethic
  • The ability to multi- task and prioritise whilst building positive internal and external relationships;
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to use initiative and be proactive
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Intermediate computer skills and thorough administration practices
  • Microsoft Dynamics – preferred
  • Opera Cloud – highly regarded
  • Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
  • High Attention to detail and;
  • Ability to work autonomously, in a team, and with remote teams
