Our client, an established company from Essen, is looking for an Accounts Receivable Accountant (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible.

This position is available immediately and is full-time.

Depending on your qualifications and previous professional experience, you can expect a gross annual salary of up to €46,000.

These are the tasks that await you:

• Independent handling of accounts receivable, including verification and posting of incoming payments.
• Creation and maintenance of customer accounts as well as regular account reconciliations.
• Monitoring of payment terms and support in optimizing credit limits
• Handling customer inquiries and clarifying payment discrepancies and outstanding items
• Conducting credit checks on new customers in cooperation with the sales department.
• Creation of dunning processes and communication with delinquent payers
• Support with internal audits and reporting within the framework of accounting.

You bring the following with you:

• Successfully completed commercial training or a comparable qualification
• Ideally, you have initial experience in accounts receivable or a similar field.
• Confident use of MS Office and SAP
• Strong numerical skills, meticulousness, and a structured work style.
• Enjoyment of teamwork and good communication skills
• Good German and English skills, both spoken and written.
