Description TITLE: Accounts Receivable Clerk DEPARTMENT: Accounting REPORTS TO: Controller FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt Position Summary: The Accounts Receivable clerk will apply accounting principles to verify, classify, compute, post, record, and research accounts receivables’ data in order to maintain customer accounts. Essential Functions: Process and distribute mail for company Process incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, recording and researching accounts receivables’ data Prepare bank deposits Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status Supports the AP/AR/Collections/Billing processes as needed Performs other duties as assigned Requirements Ability to convey Tiger Sanitation as the obvious choice for our customers, employees and community Actively demonstrates Tiger Sanitation’s core values in daily tasks and communications: Professionalism, Respect, Accountability and Communication Ability to demonstrate decision making skills that align with Tiger Sanitation’s 4 Step Decision Making Process Ability to collaborate with coworkers and management team Ability to perform with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to collaborate with coworkers and management team Ability to maintain confidentiality Ability to proficiently navigate multiple computer programs.
