SKILLS - QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education/Training:Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year accredited university preferred. Two (2) years of AP and/or AR experience strongly preferred. Experience in Property Management industry a plus.Experience/Knowledge:This position requires excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail. Ability to prioritize workload and a sense of urgency are a must. Strong math skills and professional communication skills required. Individual must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Candidate must possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities
  • Recording settlement of new unit owners per recorded deeds
  • Recording daily receipt of settlements on accounts receivable master list
  • Recording and posting daily receipt of all checks and payment files from third parties
  • Researching and processing customer claims of invoice payments
  • Researching and processing charge backs, returns, bad checks and/or unallocated cash
  • Handling miscellaneous payments and processing correctly in the accounting system per manager and/or accountant directives
  • Verifying accounts by reconciling transactions; investigating and resolving discrepancies
  • Communicating with title companies concerning settlements
  • Supporting Title Company Liaison
  • Performing other tasks and special projects as neede
