POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for an organized, motivated Accounts Receivable Managed Care Billing Specialist for our group of skilled nursing facilities. This individual will be responsible for Accounts Receivable Managed Care Billing related tasks for multiple FEINs.
As an Accounts Receivable Medicare Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for billing the Managed Medicaid, MLTC and Commercial plan claims for our skilled nursing facilities. Tasks include reviewing census data and authorizations, billing for services, reviewing collections and payments. You will work with business office staff, conduct audits, ensure compliance, and monitor receivables and aging reports.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Required to have a minimum 2 years Managed Care Billing experience in Healthcare Accounts Receivable for skilled nursing / rehabilitation / Post- Acute facilities.
• Experience with Healthcare billing systems, common working files, Point Click Care (PCC), and familiarity with CMS regulations.
• The ability to multi-task between projects, payer types, and month-end-close deadlines.
• Attention to detail and the ability to understand, problem solve, track, and verbalize troubled/growing accounts and payor types.
• Able to communicate with confidence to executive leaders.
• A positive attitude and ability to work with business office managers.
• Strong computer and communication skills.

EXPERIENCE:

• Skilled Nursing Facility Accounts Receivable Billing: 2 years
• Experience in Nursing Home A/R Bookkeeping
